Change Essentials is a new training program from Red Tree based on the world's bestselling business book, Who Moved My Cheese?. It builds on the success of Gaining Change Skills and is the very best way to help your employees develop change competency and give your company the boost it needs to grow and succeed in today's changing world.

Program Details

Module 1

A structured conversation that provides an opportunity to discuss what's changing and why, and gives participants feedback about their own strengths and weaknesses around change.

Section Participants will...
Seeing Change Differently Identify what's changing and why
  Watch the story of Who Moved My Cheese?
  Evaluate four different ways of responding to change and determine the strengths and weaknesses of each
Your Change Profile Complete a self assessment
  Evaluate their own strengths and weaknesses in five categories: Readiness, Influence, Innovation, Speed, Results


Module 2

A work session that focuses on developing four specific skills to succeed with change. Participants will learn about specific tools they can use, and they will create an action plan for their specific situation.

Section Participants will...
Skill 1: Anticipating Change Recognize sources of information that can alert them to future changes
  Develop the ability to connect possible consequences and how they might be impacted
  Filter and prioritize possible outcomes by likelihood and impact
Skill 2: Taking New Actions Recognize when changes are happening and innovate new actions to adapt
  Evaluate which activities may no longer be getting the results they want
Skill 3: Recognizing Obstacles Understand when something may be holding them back (ie. fear, comfort, misunderstanding, etc.)
  Identify and let go of "Old Cheese" they may be holding on to
Skill 4: Imagine It. Plan it. Do it. Create a clear picture of what they would like to have happen from the change
  Build a list of conditions or steps that would need to exist for their picture to become real
  Take concrete steps on a regular basis and evaluate their progress
Into the Maze Recognize and list the most important ideas that occurred to them during the session.
  Create a brief list of next steps to apply in their work.
