A work session that focuses on developing four specific skills to succeed with change. Participants will learn about specific tools they can use, and they will create an action plan for their specific situation.
|Skill 1: Anticipating Change||Recognize sources of information that can alert them to future changes|
|Develop the ability to connect possible consequences and how they might be impacted|
|Filter and prioritize possible outcomes by likelihood and impact|
|Skill 2: Taking New Actions||Recognize when changes are happening and innovate new actions to adapt|
|Evaluate which activities may no longer be getting the results they want|
|Skill 3: Recognizing Obstacles||Understand when something may be holding them back (ie. fear, comfort, misunderstanding, etc.)|
|Identify and let go of "Old Cheese" they may be holding on to|
|Skill 4: Imagine It. Plan it. Do it.||Create a clear picture of what they would like to have happen from the change|
|Build a list of conditions or steps that would need to exist for their picture to become real|
|Take concrete steps on a regular basis and evaluate their progress|
